Equipment Requirements

Please be advised that equipment requirements vary by client and position. To qualify for a role with Marionique Telecommunications, all equipment specifications must be met without exception.

As we handle sensitive customer information, we prioritize selecting agents capable of maintaining the equipment necessary to ensure data privacy. We ask that you verify you meet all basic requirements before submitting an application, as applications will not be accepted if these standards are not met.

Information regarding equipment options will be provided upon the successful completion of orientation.

Computer Requirements

To work with Marionique Telecommunications, most programs require a standard Windows 11 desktop with a separate monitor. Please note that dual boots, netbooks, tablets, and All-in-One computers are incompatible with our clients. For Apple hardware, iMacs must feature a built-in Ethernet port; MacBook Air, Pro, and USB-C ports are not supported. Any additional hardware requirements will be provided once a specific position is selected.

Telephone Requirements

A USB headset with a microphone is required for training purposes and to service most clients via the cloud. Additionally, for certain advanced programs, a basic hard-wired telephone line connection and a compatible headset (such as the Plantronics S12 or a similar model) are required. Clients may provide additional phone line equipment if required. Specific details regarding this equipment will be discussed during training or provided prior to the start of class.

Internet Requirements

all agents must have home internet installed before selecting a position with Marionique telecommunications. Hard-wired broadband Internet service via DSL, Cable, or Fiber Optic connection is required. Satellite and Cellular Hotspot Internet Services are not permitted. USB connected modems are not supported. Security checks are ran frequently. All agents must be in compliance. Falsifying these results can result in legal action.

Home Office Requirements

Starting from your initial interview, agents are required to work in a quiet room with a locked door. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for background noise; failure to meet this standard will result in immediate removal from your client program and termination of your contract with Marionique Telecommunications. Security measures are in place to ensure compliance, and additional details will be provided during orientation.

About: Text

All positions at Marionique Telecommunications are strictly 1099 independent contractor roles. This structure allows our agents the reward of receiving their full pay without tax deductions. As we do not specialize in tax advisory, we recommend consulting with a tax professional to understand the implications of 1099 status for your annual filings.

Our company was founded on years of call center experience with the goal of providing agents the freedom to work independently without the stress of managing their own corporation. At Marionique Telecommunications, you can enjoy professional autonomy while gaining valuable insight into the corporate world. Our mission is to empower you to become your own boss.

While 1099 contractors are typically responsible for their own certification and training costs, we are proud to share that Marionique Telecommunications now covers the full cost of certification for our agents. Furthermore, we have transitioned to a model where we pay our agents during the certification process. This allows you to explore work-from-home opportunities with no financial risk.

Please note that there are two specific costs we are legally unable to cover: a low-cost background check and a refundable classroom deposit. These fees are only required once you have been selected and qualified for a specific role. The deposit generally ranges from $0 to $50 and is fully refunded to your bank account after you complete your first day of certification.

We look forward to the possibility of working with you and helping you grow your career from home.
